About
Hey - I’m Ricardo. A programmer who enjoys building things with Ruby and Elixir. I care a lot about writing clean, maintainable code and solving real problems with simple solutions. Whether it’s a weekend experiment or a long-term project, I try to learn something new with every line of code.
These days, I’m especially focused on backend systems, self-hosted tools, and learning by doing. I like working close to the metal, tinkering with new ideas, and keeping things as minimal as possible.
When I’m not at the keyboard, I’m a full-time dad. That means my day job involves just as much chaos, curiosity, and improvisation - only with more snack breaks.
This blog is where I share what I’m building, learning, and thinking about. If something here helps you or sparks an idea, even better.
